Get Involved.

At Reset, volunteers play a vital role in helping residents rebuild their lives. Whether you’re gifted in teaching, mentoring, cooking, or simply offering friendship, there’s a place for you on the journey of transformation.

All the Ways You Can Serve:

  • Discipleship Coach

Discipleship coaching at Reset is not about having all the answers but about creating space for residents to ask, seek, and knock as Jesus taught. Through humble questions and Spirit-led guidance, coaches help residents turn to God as the true Source—trusting Him to provide wisdom when they ask, reveal truth when they seek, and open doors of grace when they knock. In this way, a coach walks alongside others not as the answer-giver, but as a companion pointing them to Christ, who delights to be found.

  • Specialists & Biblical Counselor

Specialists offer short-term support in areas like finance, health, sobriety, and employment. Biblical Counselors go deeper, helping residents overcome spiritual blocks and strongholds through certified faith-based counseling and deliverance. Both roles require about 3–7 hours a month.

  • Class Facilitator

Lead Thursday evening classes focused on life skills and personal growth in areas like Stewardship, Relationships, and Physical/Mental Health. These sessions help equip residents with the tools they need for long-term success.

  • Cook

Meals are a sacred space at Reset—where residents experience belonging and spiritual family. Prepare a meal for a Monday or Thursday gathering and, if possible, stay to eat with the residents. You’ll bless and be blessed.

  • Jumpstart Team

In the first 30 days, new residents need help getting settled—securing IDs, clothes, and basic services. Jumpstart volunteers act as guides and encouragers during this crucial transition.

  • Fun People Team

Sometimes the most powerful ministry is simply sharing life. Invite a resident to a ballgame, family outing, or church event. For many, experiencing sober fun is a first—and a glimpse of what redemption looks like.
