#GivingTuesday is defined as “a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.”

Celebrated every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving as a follow up to days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is a response to the more commercialized drive of other events at this time of year.   Since starting in 2012, #GivingTuesday continues to celebrate and supports the giving nature of the season, establishing a new way of thinking about this holiday season.
